"Hotei seems to be under new management so they are getting things going. With that said, my room was excellent, clean and had all the amenities needed. Bed was comfortable. My only criticism is I wished they had a detachable shower head instead of the fixed rain head shower. No problems with my overnight stay or the free shuttle to/from the airport. All staff were very friendly."

"Was told to call for aiport shuttle when we got to the airport. Called over and over again and let it ring for up to six minutes each time and no one answered. Finally a guy answered and we got the shuttle. When we checked in, he asked if we needed the morning shuttle, we said yes and he confirmed that we should be in the lobby for 4:30. In the morning a different guy said there was no record of us needing a shuttle and he had to call us a cab. Bed had a yellowing blanket just wrapped with an outer sheet (blanket was originally white), shower had orange scum, and there was someone else's clothing sticker sticking off of the closet. The shower was the worst we have ever experienced - even worse than camping. Zero pressure - it was more of a mister. Also, bathroom sink had no hot or warm water and also very little pressure, but much better than the shower. Didn't try the huge tub, so not sure there. Other than that, the room was huge and has a lot of potential. Tons of storage, big TV, comfortable pillows and bed. Looks visually like a nice place and in a very convenient location, but needs a lot more care and attention paid to guest experience. After a 9 hour flight, a decent shower would have been nice, but will never stay again based on the horrible shower alone. Couldn't even get the shampoo out."

"I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you want to avoid being charged for damages you did not cause. When I checked in, I immediately noticed issues with the room—there were two holes in the bathroom door and makeup stains all over the bed. Because I arrived late and had an early flight the next morning, I took photos and reported the damage to staff the following day. I was reassured at the time that I would not be held responsible. Despite this, I was later charged $232 for the damages. When I contacted the hotel, I was told I would need to wait 24–48 hours while they conducted an “investigation,” as there was no record that I had reported the issue. Although I was eventually refunded, that was the extent of the resolution. I spent unnecessary time dealing with this situation and received no phone call apology or any goodwill gesture, such as a discount on a future stay. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I hope the hotel improves its internal communication and documentation processes to prevent situations like this from happening to other guests."

"The noise level of the heater at night was not tolerable. I contacted after two difficulty of sleeping nights maintenance, they came by and showed us how to turn the heater off. This should have been explained to us as we checked in! We were not able to figure out the cooktop operation, a written description of how it works should have been provided by a written manual visible at the stove."
