"What a great hotel and such pleasant staff. Our room was on the third floor down with an entrance to the garden. The location was great for strolling around the old town and easy to get an uber to the Pena Palace. The hotel does not have parking but there are parking spots just outside the hotel Also there are no elevators but the staff helped out by bringing our bags down 3 floors to our room. This hotel is on my list for a return visit."

"This is a fantastic hotel. We really enjoyed our stay - great room, beautiful grounds, and an amazing outdoor pool. A buffet breakfast was included for us and it was very good. We had supper at the hotel restaurant once - it was also a buffet - and would not recommend it; the staff were lovely but the quality of the food was not worth the price.
