Being half a Luddite the app for phone and figuring out how to turn the lights off and on involved me needing assistance. Not only did the staff help me, they didn’t even laugh at me or call me a “Boomer”. Great customer service! Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Docent’s Choice. Everything was perfect! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. It is our second time. The location is fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere we needed. One block from the waterfront. Very walkable. Our unit came with a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a multi cooking option stove. Beautiful place settings, and every tool you could possibly need to prepare a full meal. We actually hosted a dinner party during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by providing extra place settings and making sure...

"We were so pleasantly surprised with the Cambria Hotel. It was a great location- quiet but close enough to Old Port to walk. Our room was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to Portland and when we do, the Cambria will most definitely be our place to stay! "

"The Blind Tiger was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in! The location was perfect – far enough away from the "bustle" of downtown but close enough to walk to many spots (Smalls was a favorite!). The daily breakfast was so great and the room, my goodness! Adorable, perfect, comfortable... best sleep of my life! Maggie was so helpful and accommodating and made our stay really special. All in all, highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our room very much. The room was large and spacious, but mostly we loved looking out at the harbor in the evening and the next morning. The valet parking was an added convenience even though there was a fee, but totally worth it. We plan to return to this property again,"

"Unfortunately the poll was closed for planned maintenance, which was not disclosed and was disappointing. The breakfast offerings were sparse, with overflowing trash, unclean tables and serving areas. The breakfast staff person was pretty rude when others asked for replenishments of basics such as milk for cereal, eggs and sausages. With other choices, we’ll stay elsewhere next time. "

"I do not remember the name but the woman that checked me in was an absolute ray of sunshine. She had pink hair and her attitude made my normally grumpy self feel happier. Rooms were great to, breakfast was good though I was bummed they were out of fruit at like 9am."
