"Excellent"

"On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of. I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses. The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly. The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....

"We stayed in the tower suite which was overall lovely room. For that price, I would appreciate if the amenities are a bit nicer. The quality of the shamoo/conditioner was not very good in my opinion. I found the pillows were useless, too airly and too soft, feels like no substance in them. My neck was in terrible pain when I woke up. The pool was nice but I think it would be good to have a booking system. At some point, too many people came and there were not enough room for everyone. "Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. I stayed here one night to visit the near by Cotswold villages, like Castle Combe, which was only half an hour away. If the windows could be upgraded and...

"We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. "

The room had everything we needed, we didn't have dinner but did have a drink in the bar, and then breakfast had a great selection too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "Cute hotel in the heart of this beautiful town. Greeted by a very nice woman upon arrival and helped with my bags. Wish there had been a refrigerator but understand it’s an incredibly old building. Staff were great at dinner!"
