"This is minimalism in a place to stay. My first experience with a"Tru" so I didn't know what I was getting. For example, there was there was no closet in the room--you have pegs on the walls and pipes for hanging clothes. The housekeeping is every other day! The floors are "luxury vinyl" and the light fixtures are industrial grade. Pets are permitted (a bit of a shocker ). It is a newer property which masks some of its limitations. "We were booked for a 3 night stay. On 1 of the 3 nights our room was not cleaned. I went to the front desk to get clean towels and specifically asked that housekeeping clean our room the next day. The next morning, we saw housekeeping outside the room next to ours andI asked the girl if we were to have our room cleaned. She told me that she would be there in 10 minutes. An hour and a half later, when we checked the hallway, she had skipped our room entirely and I had to ask again to have it...

"Room was not cleaned during our stay. On Saturday I mentioned this to the staff at the desk and they ASSURED me the room would be cleaned. Nothing done. For the price I paid per night, close to $1000 I should expect better. Not acceptable! Especially for a room a I paid for in advance almost 1 YEAR AGO IN FULL. Refund due accordingly!! Please review!"

"Overall, the general condition and staff are fine during our stay. However, the light above the mini bar where is coffee maker is located was out-off order, and still not replaced regardless several repeated inquiries for repair. Basic room service is only upon request. "

"There were roaches in my room. They changed me to an upper floor and upgraded my room but there were still roaches. Did not like the hotel but the staff was very nice and professional."
