"You are asking about the staff? There was nobody there when we arrived. I could not find my reservation number because of poor phone connection! It took us 15 minutes to check in and other guests were struggling too! Not a good system and Expedia should let us know that there nobody at the Hotel when you arrive, that we needed our reservation number, not just our names and to be ready for a machine."

"L'hôtel est situé à environ 10 mn de la Cité de Carcassonne et on l'aperçoit des fenêtres de l'hôtel. Nous avons très bien dormi car c'est calme. Les propriétaires de l'hôtel sont très agréables les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. La piscine est très jolie. Je recommande vivement cet endroit."

The room was a little cold, the bed a little hard - an extra blanket would have been nice as well as soap for the shower - but I could have asked for these things and I am sure my requests would have been happily tended to. A simple breakfast was provided and I could bring my own food to keep in the fridge and warm up if needed. There is a cozy common room to read or watch tv in. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "Kleines Hotel, dem die Renovierung gut getan hat. Die Dachterrasse war ca 2x2m groß, reicht aber für ein schönes Foto von der unverbauten Aussicht auf die Cite von Carcassonne. Kleiner, liebevoller Garten mit leckerem Frühstück."

"Had a great stay at the property, which is in a nice small village outside of Carcassonne. The breakfast was very nice, with various breads and jams fruits and such. The bathroom was quite large and the room had ample pace and such for clothes. There is a restaurant about 50m away that is very good. Probably the best part is that the proprietrix is wonderful."

"Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended"

"This hotel is not for luxury travellers, but it's clean, the staff is excellent, and it's close to the airport. The parking lot is secured overnight by a gate (they give guests the code), and although the rooms are small, they have everything you need. I especially appreciated the blackout curtains that work better than any I've ever had before. I would definitely stay here again."

"Aardige plek bij watermolen, langs doorgaande weg. Zelf erg op netheid, schoon, stofvrij en hygiene. Bovenstaand had dit verblijf niet, aardige gastheer dat wel maar dat is normaal toch. "
