"Great service, friendly staff, convenient restaurant which made me a superb sandwich and serves Starbucks coffee. The room was very clean and quiet and I slept great in the bed. I'd stay here again without question. Just outside was the river trail with great river scenery, and a quarter mile or so to Riverfront Park and downtown. The carpet was old and unclean, and overall the property is worn down and poorly maintained. The AC was loud, making it difficult to sleep. On top of that, there is a freight train directly behind the hotel, loud enough that the hotel provides guest rooms with ear plugs! The bed was overly soft and dingy. There was only a rough sheet and an extremely thin cover that barely functioned...

The room was nice and clean, the bed was very soft and comfortable but the freezer was iced over and I couldn't fit anything in it. Plus, the hallway spelt like smoke and on one of the nights, it spelt like marijuana. "
