Crowne Plaza Panama Airport by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Room was alright. We have paid less and received more. There was an alarm for a tech room beeping all night. Can hear the people next and above us quite clearly. Lobby looks nice but room was meh. Restaurant very expensive for what you get. "

Hotel Riu Plaza Panama

"There was an issue with the air in the room and the mini fridge (Sunday night). Maintenance checked, changed the filter, and performed other tasks in the ceiling. The next day (Monday), Deanna(hope the spelling is correct) called, and we went to check out another room, but it was the same. She was very apologetic and assured me she would get me another room. The staff brought some chocolate-covered strawberries. Tuesday when we came from our excursion, the front desk called(Tiffany) and we were moved to a much cooler room. She also left my mom's birthday cake and fruit. The bellman helped move our things. Thanks Deanna and don't desk staff......
Side note: The reason you did not receive five stars. Please talk to the young man who served our table (36)at the restaurant by the pool on Wednesday at 7:42pm. He needs to be aware that tipping is optional and that it depends on his service. Our total for two Linguine and a Cesar salad was about $49.54. We paid $50 cash, and he made a big deal because he did not receive a tip. My mom ended up giving him a $5 tip because he was making a big deal. We have no problem tipping if you deserve it and earned it ask the bellman, he received a $10 tip. I left a note on the receipt for him. Please let him know tipping is not mandatory it's the customer's money and discretion. His service did not qualify for a tip. ....... Other than that, all is well. "

Principe Hotel and Suites
8/10 Good
"I had a great stay at this property. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference in comfort. The staff was friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with anything we needed.
Overall, everything was smooth and easy, and the property delivered a very comfortable experience.
The hotel does feel a bit dated in some areas, and the internet in the rooms can be somewhat unstable, which could be improved.
I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers and would be happy to stay here again. Location is fantastic.

Hyatt Regency Panama City
8/10 Good
"Hotel is very nice and beautiful. Rooms where clan and the cleaners organized my things almost everytime they came in.The gym was amazing and has a sauna and relaxing swimming pool. The customer care service needs to be better for a 5 star hotel. My husband had to call twice to get his shirts ironed. We also told them our shower drain was not draining properly, which they said they would send someone to fix, but never did. We are not the kind of people to complain, but if they can improve on their service it would make a huge difference. Also, next door is a small grocery store, which is convenient."
