"Our one issue arises from the room window, which was painted shut. The staff quickly had maintenance free it up, but byelaws require a safety chain be permanently attached to it so that it can only be raised about 4 inches. Given that temperatures were the hottest in decades that meant the room was too hot to get a good nights sleep. And the property was so dirty on the outside of the building that was all you needed to get a idea of the hotel it was loaded with fast food garbage piled up in front of the office and scattered all over .
