"Our stay was horrible. This hotel is very run down. Our room smelled like dirty feet, the carpet smelled like vomit, the sink in the bathroom was about to fall, the TV and the phone did not work. One of the two elevators was not working and it took multiple tries to be able to get a ride down. And in order to reach the elevator banks from the front door we had to walk up two short flights of stairs with our bags as the elevator was not working. The one bright spot was that the staff was nice."

"When we arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. We spoke with the housekeeping staff, who cleaned the room very quickly, but unfortunately it was still not properly clean afterward. I raised the issue with the housekeeper, and she seemed unhappy about the complaint and began speaking in Spanish, apparently assuming that I would not understand. Proper bathroom cleaning is essential. The toilet was dirty, which is unacceptable and reflects a lack of attention to hygiene standards....

"Peggy at the front desk is amazing. She was welcoming and friendly. The location was excellent, room was clean and the bed was comfortable, couldn’t ask for more. Next time I’m in Huntington Station, I will be staying at the Whitman Motor Lodge."

"Basic, average hotel that needs a bit of updating. Room was clean, but kind of dark and dreary. Bathroom was ok. Breakfast was below average compared to most other hotels that include breakfast when booking a room. The main reason for booking this property was the excellent price during a Memorial Day Weekend stay. A four night stay was half of what many other hotels in the area were."

"Looked ok from the outside. Location seemed ok. Wasn’t cheap, so I expected an ordinary well kept hotel. Wrong! The “ lobby” was a desk behind bulletproof glass right near the door. Nothing else( no chairs, etc) except the elevator. Breakfast was in the same “lobby” and consisted of half frozen prepackaged muffins, packages of oatmeal and coffee and hot water for tea. That’s it. They didn’t have sugar. Had to go our rooms to eat, since there were no tables or chairs in the “ lobby”(or space...
