"We stayed at The George Hotel as a midway stop that provided easy access to Bath. We had a standard twin room which was hidden in the back corridors of the hotel. The room was gloomy and in need of an upgrade. It doesn’t match any of the pictures offered by the hotel. Go for the premium rooms they may be what I saw and expected. "We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent."
