"Very clean and accommodating to my personal needs. Only gripe is was told I was getting a room. With a king size bed. However it was actually 2 queen beds. Not too terrible. But worth mentioning nonetheless. "

"Clean and well maintained. Central heat and AC not reliable. Room temperature varies. Use your ear plugs because of noisey highway. Trees behind the lodge need cutting to prevent roof noise. Microwave and mid-sized refrigerator in room. Cable TV worked great. The bed was comfortable. No extras except soap and towels provided. Low price lodging, not luxury. "

"The cloud of smoke at the canopy entrance from all the smokers and their trash was disgusting. A designated area for smokers should be away from the entrance. Otherwise the property was good. Staff very friendly and helpful!"

"Great historic hotel in a nice location. Because it’s an old hotel, sound insulation was poor. The noise level was tolerable after 10pm. Room was poorly lit. Overall as expected for a very old property."

"This hotel appeared to be under some renovation. In our room there was a crack in the window, water on the floor under the window after rain, missing lightbulb in lamp, unable to plug in another lamp due to not enough outlets. There were very strong, uninviting odors in the lobby and throughout the hotel when we arrived and at various times throughout the weekend. Overall disappointed with our stay. In the past I have had much better experience with Wingate by Wyndam."

"Room has a broken window and heating system could not be reached unless standing on chair. Staff was friendly and check in ok"

"Pool was under construction when we were there. Was not evident when We were booking. Would’ve gone elsewhere had we known. The HVAC unit in our room had no heat. The bathroom sink drained poorly and had no hot water. Although we were there for theee days the maid did not come in once to empty trash or replenish TP/coffee etc. Will go elsewhere next time. Great location though,"
