"Clean beautifully appointed room, lovely restaurant and Carmel Coffee/Bake Shop. Nice plaza outside to sit for sites and sounds, Alvarado Street right there, for more walkable restaurants and the Wharf on the opposite side of Portola. Great location for easy access to all of Monterey."

"We enjoyed the availability of the first floor restaurant, but was disappointed that the rooftop lounge area did not have food or beverage service. The AC unit in the room was very noisy when it was on. Everything else about this hotel was pleasant though."
