- The lobby and outdoor areas have a lively, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and socialize.
- The gaming area was a big hit with the kids.
- Staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional.
Cons
- Despite posted notices, guests were bringing dogs into the food area and staff did not appear to enforce the policy. This was disappointing for those expecting the designated dining areas to remain pet-free.
- The shower door design could be improved, as it wasn't very effective at keeping water contained.
- Valet parking at $35 per night felt expensive, especially considering the location and available parking options in Mammoth Lakes.
Overall, Limelight Mammoth is a beautiful, family-friendly hotel with great amenities, a fun atmosphere, and outstanding staff. A few operational improvements would make the experience even better. I'd gladly stay here again."
