Lodges in Central Karoo District Municipality

"Aquila was a brilliant 24 hour experience. From the welcome drink at check-in and the free upgrade to the luxury cottage to the great food and safari drives, we were well looked after and entertained for the 24 hours. The area is very nice to spend the evening in with sounds of wildlife all around and starry skies while you relax on your deck / balcony or by the fire."

"Mont Eco Game Resort is wonderful. From the moment we arrived, to be greeted by African drummers to the moment we left, we were spoiled. The individual lodges are fabulous, with large comfortable rooms. Our guide was brilliant, getting us as close as possible to the animals and explaining everything with great humour. All the meals were included in the price and the food was excellent."

"Absolutely beautiful views from the water tents - view of the hippos was amazing"

"Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent, quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite "

"Perfect if you just need time out - very flexible to your needs. Stunning part of ZA"

"Eine Unterkunft im Nirgendwo. Der Eigentümer gibt sich viel Mühe dem Gast einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Das Essen war gut zubereitet, die Tischdeko mit viel Liebe jeden Tag anders gestaltet. Wir kommen wieder"

"Schöne Blockhütte, aber sehr kalt in der Nacht! (Winter). "
