"The property itself was not clean. The helpfulness of the staff varied greatly from one person to the next. But, none of the 3 people behind the counter I spoke to about the man who walked his dog outside the front sliding doors and let it pee right on the rubber door mat, cleaned it. Simply getting a bucket of water or using a hose would have sufficed but they did nothing. One of the workers told me he does that all of the time and shook her head. "We visited on a chilly weekend in May and Great Pines provided a cozy space to relax. Our Lake View Room had a perfect view of Fourth Lake and the bed was very comfortable. The common area with a large fireplace was inviting and we spent time on the comfy couches reading and visiting with other guests. Breakfast was average. We didn't meet any staff. Definitely recommend "
