"Lovely staff, clean modern room, awesome pool"

"Hotel with nice staff and well kept interiors. Stayed on the top floor and the room was very spacious. The bed sizes were very small though. It was just a bit larger than a twin bed. We paid for four people, and we got these two twin beds. I had to sleep on my side to stay on the bed. With such a large room space, why the beds were so tiny, it puzzled me. Parking garage was next to the hotel. Even though it was connected, having to go through elevators, then steps, then to another drop off area was very cumbersome with multiple luggage. The area around the hotel did not seem so safe. Just a block away (north east) was like a scene from a zombie apocalypse movie with homeless drug addicts doing their thing. A few blocks south, there's a Wholefoods store which was convenient. "

"The staff was amazing and the room was clean and very spacious. The air conditioner couldn't be adjusted easily, so I woke up cold, but no biggee. The parking fee is pretty high (why are we taxed on that??), but all in all, it was great for attending a game at Staples."

"Excellent location, very clean, fairly spacious, old school rooms. Bathrooms need fans and doors that can remain open for some airflow. Safe was tricky to open. Excellent housekeeping services. The pool was lovely with large towels. Would stay here again. "

"Great location and lots of fun history. Fantastic to have Clark's Diner in the hotel - we had a delicious breakfast. The beds were clean and very comfy! The room itself doesn't feel as clean as the beds - partly because the bench covers were stained and felt dirty. I didn't sit on them. We were facing the freeway, so with such thin windows, it was extremely noisy."

"Parking was off the street, covered and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and well laid out. We were close to everything. Overall, this was an excellent stay. We would definitely book here again. "
