"We checked into Bristlecone early in week after long travel day. We got to our room & saw crumbs on a chair, dirt & dust on tables, grease spots in microwave, a shower curtain that was a half foot too long for the shower. Returned to front office where a young lady apologized & offered a suite. We went to the suite, looked around, noted dusty surfaces, tried the A/C, it didn’t work & was protruding from the wall, and no microwave. We returned to front desk…asked for the room we had stayed in...

"Refurbished old building. I think it was not originally a hotel. Associated with the Mizpah Hotel across the street. Nice enough, but no front desk; you check in over at the Mizpah. The night we were there happened to be cold and windy so going back and forth was not fun. The room was pleasant . There were no kleenex, that I could find. Ate dinner at the Jack Dempsey room at the Mizpah. It was good. "
