"The AC unit in the room was very old, rusted and very noisy. We could ynot only the hissing of the air but the badly functioning AC motor. The bath towels were damp and the carpet floor dirty. We had to request a room change. The new room was slightly cleaner but the AC was still noisy and old. For the high price of the stay this was more than disappointing. The hotel ad stated that the facility was completely renovated which was quite different than the reality. The staff was not very welcoming...

"Pros: Our room was cleaned really well every day. The staff was very helpful and kind. The food in the cafe downstairs was delicious and reasonably priced. It felt safe. Noise was fine for us because we had a sound machine. The bed was comfortable. The location is excellent.

"This was a great value in the heart of New York. Room was big by New York standards. Decor was updated but still kept the original art deco flavor. "Perfect stay for a NYC trip, it was very close to everything about 2 ish blocks from time square and a very short walk to broadway. The valet parking was easy to use.
