"Large rooms. Good hot water. Huge lobby and lounge. Very good service. Food and drinks are reasonably priced compared to other areas of Costa rica. Room was quiet even with the close proximity to the airport. Piano lounge. Huge breakfast buffet? Well worth the extra charge. "

"Nice room and kind staff! Good price and location to walk everywhere. I’m a single woman and there was definitely some… “adult” only activity going on here. However, no one bothered me and the hotel was a good stay nonetheless despite the activity lol. "

"The hotel was built in the early 1900’s. Well restored and old time charm is evident throughout. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was complete and delicious. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean despite its age. My room was well appointed and quiet"

"This is a must see for solo travelers. Sports Entertainment Food Fun bar Billiards Cigars The food and the sports bar are the best, but I keep coming back for the staff. Especially Hazel. She makes me feel at home, remembers me fondly, and encourages me to join in the fun. Note: when the girls start chanting “Hey! Hey! Hey!…” Go big or Go home."
