"This hotel is a great place to stay if you have to stay in central city Phoenix. The rooms are clean functional and quiet. The amenities are wonderful.
Unfortunately ( and this is not a criticism of the hotel) the surrounding neighborhood is not nice. Almost as bad as Manhattan or, god forbid, Seattle
The area is crawling with drug addled homeless people, the presence of which represents of course, a failure on the part of the Phoenix city government
So there are much nicer areas in which to stay
But if you have to stay in Central city Phoenix, I highly recommend this hotel"
