"Moonlight Beach Motel is a delightful, quaint, beach motel, only a 5 minute walk to beautiful Moonlight Beach. And also only minutes to wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. And if you are visiting Scripps Encinitas, it is less than a 10 minute drive. We loved our view of the ocean from our patio. The kitchenette in the room was so convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff at the desk ( not 24 hours) were very friendly and helpful. Beach necessities are provided as well. ...

"Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

"Parking was limited on the pool side . They only had 1 handicap spot and 5 other spots so if you got back late there was no parking close to the room so if your handicap its to far of a walk "
