"This is a Holiday Inn in name only. Disappointed in the way the hotel represents itself on Expedia. 4 stars is a significant reach. This hotel is in a 1 star part of town and it is generally far from clean, particularly the washrooms. Photos of hotel and rooms are significantly enhanced. Breakfast was good, but too many cakes and pastries for myself, I would have preferred more savoury options. Staff were good.
Room was airy and clean. Beautiful view. Good air conditioning. But make sure you book the annex. A lot more modern.
Bar is expensive.

"I came to Sorrento for a short stay to celebrate my 40th birthday. My partner emailed the hotel and I also left a message on the booking to see if there was anything they could do. They did absolutely zero to even acknowledge this or even wish me a Happy Birthday despite them scanning my passport further confirming that it was indeed my 40th birthday.
