"Palazzo Achates was perfect for us! It is in the center of old town on a quiet street and has been fully renovated with a beautiful modern minimalist design. I booked the last room available which, was described as small, but it was actually quite roomy and lovely. The owner answered all requests promptly and was wonderfully welcoming! He made us feel assured that the keycard entry to the hotel itself would work smoothly at any hour of the night, and it did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"This was a last minute booking and it was difficult to find. You have to go in through this tiny door that opens up into a common area and then up stairs to find the reception desk. Also, they are not there all the time. We had to tell them precisely what time we were arriving so they would be at the desk. The room was clean and nice and it was a great neighborhood."

"I liked that the property was very central in the historic district. The hotel was very clean and the room very spacious. I would have easily given 5 stars for everything had it not been for the noise. Our room was below the rooftop restaurant and they were very noisy. We could hear every move of a chair or table. Our sleep was disrupted because of it. The noise lasted till 2am.
Other than that everything was good with the hotel.
They should definitely think about a solution about the noise."
