"The room was unwelcoming. Heat wasn't on. Very poor quality workmanship on pretty much everything. Tv was really small. Remote hardly worked. No closet. No pictures or anything to decorate it; make it homey. The bed was comfortable. Close to McMaster. You get what you pay for i guess. The pictures online looked nicer. Buyer beware."

"The place was clean, and the staff were friendly. The gym equipment was a little lacking, but everything was in good condition and working. The breakfast was excellent. So often, we are unable to find a healthy alternative to much of the instant junk food hotels provide...The Townplace did have healthy choices."

Parking was a bit of an issue for me since my vehicle didn’t fit. 6.2 was the maximum height so I parked in the open lot but when I checked in they said they had a higher entrance for bigger vehicle which was good to know. The other entrance is 6.7 ..perfect! I was glad to have it parked in a secured parking garage."

"It was what you would expect from a lower-priced motel. The place was decently clean but not immaculate, shower temperature was fine. It's just run down. The staff were very nice and accommodating though, moved me to a better room and cheerfully supplied more towels. Also the location was good and near good food and the waterfront, plus only a few mins from the highway."

"Staff wouldn"t agree to extend stay for 1 additional night at initial rate of $ 126, wanted to charge a rate of $ 160 per night for extended stay in the same room. I found alternate accomodations nearby, good quality, at only $ 110 per night . Signature Inn is not helping business if they complicate a simple additional overnight extension to a much higher cost ..."
