"Beautiful views"

"This hotel is simply beautiful. The staff makes you feel like royalty. The view is beautiful but not accessible or visible from the inside. I wish they build an observation deck in the future. Great conservation of the building. Neat clean all around. Great gourmet food. The best was breakfast. I missed a hair dryer, but a small detail for such a wonderful experience."

"Poor communication to enter the property, had to wait outside for 10 minutes in the night. The owner eventually came to open the door, but calls and text were not answered. The owner was very nice and once inside was responsive to texts. The room was very pretty as well. "

"The property was infested with cockroaches. As we entered the property, we saw at least 4 big roaches outside the front door. I found a roach crawling on my belongings in my room. Apart from that, the hotel is located down a narrow, dark alleyway that felt very unsafe going down in the night. Cars cannot access this place and the location is unsafe. The bed was also hard as a rock. While I told the front desk staff member about the roach in my belongings and he removed it promptly, there was no...

"Beautiful grounds and gardens. View from restaurant is stunning. Private parking was so helpful and provided peace of mind. Included breakfast is excellent! Rooms are adequate, but small. Beds were ok. Conveniently located to lake side park on one side and shops on the other. Restaurant food and service is very good! One of our favorite places on Lake Atitlan"

"I spent one week at Amankaya and had a great time! Fernando is an amazing host that always goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The location is a bit secluded from everything but theres a boat that can pass by the lakehouse 3x a day which makes accessing all of the other villages very easy. There is complimentary water and kayaks available. The kitchen is very big and very well stocked. Theres also a lovely dog and 2 cats to keep you company. I'd recommend Amankaya to...

"The room was clean, basic, no frills. Breakfast was included and very good, a couple options available. 7:30a-8:30a. The restaurant was very good with a great view, only open until 8:30p. Filtered water was available to refill your water bottle in the restaurant. Be ready for lots of steps! If you have any issue with steps, this is not the hotel for you. "Para el standard de hoteles del lugar sin duda es bueno. Alberca, jacuzzi adecuados, excelente temperatura del agua de ambas. Habitación decorada al concepto del hotel. Lo que me sorprendió es que no hay aire acondicionado y eso si fue un problema. Excelente restaurante !! Y jardines impresionantes."
