"The breakfast times could have been later, as finished at 9am on Monday. The bar was supposed to close at 11pm but was closed by 10.15pm. The rooms were basic and shower not powerful. However, were clean and still had everything that was needed. Lots of choice of food and drink and fresh."

Everything was there that I wanted but the fruit was tinned, toaster didn't work well, cooked breakfast was overdone. Not awful but I've had better. "Good hotel for a short stay, a bit dated but good. Positives: Friendly staff, good size room, clean. The not so great: Breakfast is the biggest disappointment. The choice is minimal and quality should be better. If the breakfast options included fried eggs or pouched eggs and the supplied bread, jam and sausage quality would be better the rating would be much higher."

"This location was unusually nice. Yes, the rooms are above a pub, but it was very quiet, at least while we were there. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is a bit of a walk, down the street at the local race track, which has a very secure locked gate to their lot. It was included in the price and wasn't an issue for us.
