"The front desk staff helped me with my luggage getting in and then getting out. I use canes. They saw me struggling and jumped up to help. The handicapped room was wonderfully designed. The specs in the bathroom perfect. If I'm passing through Richmond again and I need a place to stay they are my choice"

"The room smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Staff did offer to move the room but that room smelled more like smoke. Rooms need air fresheners and drapes, carpets and bed linen need cleaning items that get rid of the smoke smell. Breakfast was amazing!"

"It was good enough for a night bed was comfortable. The ac was loud and everything is pretty dated in the common areas and messy like stepping back into 1990s. Reminded me more like a nursing home with the layout, decor and smell. The restaurant staff was friendly and attentive. I hope they all get a good severance package and set up with a new job. As I heard the place is sold and they’re tearing it down. So I guess that explains the lack of maintenance and cheap offer Expedia should...

"The walls are very, you can hear entire conversations happening in the room next door."

"Clean rooms however bathroom could use updates by installing walk-in showers for the handicap with safety bars as well as ceiling repairs both the cloth chair and window dressing could use a cleaning or upgrade Overall with this economy still on the expensive side however it is what it is.. It's the staff convience and peaceful atmosphere, friendliness of extended stay guest .Overall 7 out of 10."

"A clean and comfortable room. Just what I wanted. The Property could use a little Sprucing UP. The furnature in my room ( 229 ) was a little " Thread Bare " My room key card, I was given 2, was a wee bit trobelsome. It took several attempts for the lock reader to read the Magnetic Strip. I do believe some attention to details would go a long way. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Over all not tearable nights stay. EPG"
