"The hotel is a great hotel, but some minor updates/additions to the rooms would make it even better. The rooms have a fridge but they also need a microwave. They could also update the coffee to an option that uses k-cups, easier for the travelers to use and less mess. Water pressure in the shower could also be better, but I would still stay again. The staff was friendly and the hotel is really clean and the access to the beach is amazing. I loved my view of the ocean from my floor to ceiling window that slides open where you can get a great breeze off the water. The complimentary beach chairs are a plus and parking was great. We literally didn't use our vehicle again until it was time to leave because everything we needed was within walking distance to the hotel. Loved Pinkies restaurant in the hotel."
"There is something so special about The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island. The natural beauty of Kiawah is incredible, and the hotel has such a beautiful Southern charm that feels perfectly suited to the island. The grounds are gorgeous, the oceanfront setting is spectacular, and the entire property feels peaceful and relaxing.
The staff was warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and everything was beautifully maintained. We also really enjoyed the food and all that the resort has to offer.
We absolutely loved our time at The Sanctuary and can’t wait to return. It is truly one of our favorite places to stay."
"Location was great. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops and a movie theater. Parking deck was convenient. Staff were very helpful. Would have liked to have a microwave in the room but there was one in the breakfast area. Rooms were clean and very comfortable."
