6/10 Okay

"We expected more from a La Quinta brand hotel. While the hotel was readily accessible from the highway with ample parking, our room was outdated, old, and musty. I guess the hotel replaced the door openers as they were stiff and clumsy often resulting in our hitting the door hard upon entry. The bathroom smelled of urine and this may be due to the overhead fan not working and/or a mildewed shower curtain. It did "appear" clean. We cannot rate the breakfast as this was only served from 6 to 9. We stayed here for a couple of nights and did not need to get up this early. It would have been nice had breakfast remained until at least 10am. Check in and Check out were easy. Staff was friendly."

"The staff members are truly friendly and welcoming. It appears they're trying to update the rooms, which is great. The wifi was speedy, which can matter to some people. It's a reasonable place for the price. The reason I won't return is a cockroach looking bug crawled across the floor of my room in the first half hour of being there. It's probably an exception. But that's an easy Not Again for us."
