"A functional hotel. It is clean and functional with great staff. The price is always at around £49 which is great for traveling to Manchester, Liverpool areas during peak season. Location wise is a bit out there but that's why the rate is £49 and not £94."

"Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains."

"Room very well kept with all provisions… the water and coffee provided daily was a very nice touch following a very kind complimentary room upgrade. Great views from the 15th floor! Staff very courteous and happy to help. (Friendly feedback… hot breakfast items not great and tough to eat, as they seem to be cooked up early and left to dry out under the heat lamps). "

"We had 2 rooms for a 3 night stay. The hotel price was excellent value for money and which included breakfast and parking. The breakfast offered cooked options which were freshly prepared by order. All the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean with modern decor and bathrooms and with quality beds and bed linens. There was ample parking. The hotel was set in pleasant grounds and conveniently close to the motorway and a great stopping off point for local attractions, villages and country...

"I stay here all the time when I’m working as it’s straight onto the M6 so location is great BUT it’s the staff that are always lovely & helpful especially the amazing Jackie who is always there at breakfast and literally makes you feel happy & comfortable as she is extremely professional "
