"We booked this room while attending a black-tie event, so we had high expectations given the price. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The room itself was quite small, especially compared to the unusually large bathroom. When I went to take a shower, the water was only lukewarm, which was frustrating. Getting ready for the event was also inconvenient—there was no mirror near the desk/dressing table and no full-length mirror in the room. The only mirror was in the bathroom, which wasn’t practical while my partner was using it. This made preparing for a formal event much more difficult than it should have been. Additionally, the room felt very stuffy. Opening the window helped with ventilation, but it let in a lot of noise from an external fan, making it hard to relax. Overall, the room did not meet expectations for the price we paid."

"Free parking easy, friendly staff, literally next to high street where there’s shops/restaurants. Constructive criticism is for such a relatively small outlay the room could be a good budget room. Valance round bed base, peeled off paint touch up. However the shower was not good at all. 3 or 4 shower head holes worked, the remaining water was spouting from the screw on part of shower head and the door was falling apart with trim hanging off and the grout was black in lots of places, spray mould remover would easily rectify this? Was reported but was told no one had ever mentioned this? Bizarre! "

"Ample parking. Great bar area, sitting areas, and nice restaurant. Had an issue with the room, but this was generously upgraded and made the stay 100% better than we could have imagined. Bathrooms were really clean and shower was excellent."

"Although the room was relatively clean, I did not feel safe not having a locking out door especially after recent incidents at Travelodge The hot water was lukewarm and hardly running out of the main sink tap Mattress was lumpy not that comfortable mould in shower on ceiling. Staff are very friendly unfortunately this is a very tired accommodation walls incredibly thin. For a pub with rooms, it’s on the expensive side"

"The room was cold when we arrived and the radiators were ineffective. Fortunately it was warmer when we returned from dinner. The bureaucracy associated with online check in was excessive ie submitting passport details and photo, and precise checkin time. info from three different organisations, and lists of instructions and rules for check in and out. I like to book and turn up on the day."

"So happy we chose to stay here for our vacation! Absolutely 💯 home away from home. All the thoughtful extras were thoroughly appreciated! A wonderfully homey place to relax after sightseeing. Would certainly be back and highly recommend! "
