The couple that own the property were very friendly and welcoming. Our check in was quick and easy. The room itself was beautiful. The bathroom gave that little something extra. We sat in the garden until the sun went down. Breakfast was fit for a king and was a wonderful finish to a superb stay. Highly recommend

Beautiful French house. Lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. The gardens are full of beautiful trees and flowers. Delicious breakfast and great service. Swimming pool away from the house for weary travellers. A trip back in time and much appreciated.

This hotel was a highlight of our recent tour around France. Located in gorgeous french countryside, with wonderful facilities of heated hot tub, heated pool and tennis courts included as well as bike hire. Rooms are beautifully French and there are lovely seating options in the library and gardens to enjoy some of your locally purchased wines, cheeses and other goodies. Beautiful hotel with impeccable service. One of the very best in Loire.

This place is a little gem, nested in the countryside with a fantastic vibe. The host is extremely kind and clearly made a great work with the place, the room was perfect for my family of 4 and we all loved the stay. The breakfast was definitely the best in our month-long vacation in France. When going again to the Loire valley, I'd definitely be coming back a La Source de Bury to use as a base to visit the many castles in the area.

Amazing opportunity to experience life in a stately home - sixteenth century but with all mod cons including a powerful shower in a cave. Do visit.

A beautiful stay at this small chateau which has been restored to excellent levels of decor, service & hospitality. Can’t say enough about this home as we enjoyed every aspect of it. The whole setting is amazing; a real adventure for the kids, an awesome swimming pool (we had to ourselves), very peaceful and the attractions of Amboise a 10 minutes drive away. Extremely helpful management who like to speak english

An outstanding and beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean and in an ideal location. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Room was fantastic - big, well equipped and with air con - perfect. We really loved this hotel and would thoroughly recommend.

The bedroom was very spacious with a lovely comfortable seating area for watching t.v. plus a standard reading lamp. Bedding and bed were both excellent and the hotel provided 3 pillows each (this is rare). There were many thoughtful touches in the room and bathroom such as shaving mirror, room for toiletries to be stored, plenty of hooks for bathrobes etc and good clothes hangers in the wardrobe. This was such a beautiful place. Charming old building, spacious room with lovely outdoor space. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and hospitable. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and delicious.
