"We loved our hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions. We were able to walk to the concert, museum, store, and restaurants. The pool was perfect to relax after a long day and the continental breakfast was better then most. I especially appreciated the fresh coffee and multiple protein options. Our room had an amazing view of Uptown Charlotte. It was clean and comfortable."

"I arrived at the property pretty early and I was able to check in early as well. The black guy at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. My only issue with the hotel is that the corners of the bathroom were kind of disgusting. The flesh on the toilet was also really bad. I had to flush the toilet two or three times just to get tissue to go down. As dating room 705. The people were great, but the amenities are not the best."

Overall, my stay at the DoubleTree in downtown Charlotte near Spectrum Center was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the rooms were very clean, and I felt safe and comfortable while inside the hotel.
However, there were several service issues that were disappointing. We had four people staying in the room, but there were not enough towels provided. I contacted the staff and specifically requested four sets of towels, but only two...
