"The family room was large with air conditioning, very comfortable mattresses and bedding, plenty of good quality towels, shower gel and a body moisturiser in the bathroom and complimentary bottles of drinking water, tea and coffee (machine). The staff could not have been more helpful with our questions and requests. We were allowed to check in earlier (£20 fee). Their pizzas were really good. "The staff make the Bell - we were warmly welcomed on checking in, and bar/restaurant service was friendly and efficient too. The room and dinner were both good value and good quality. We’ll look out for Greene King inns on future trips, as this was a very good and enjoyable experience all round. "

"From our arrival to our departure we were made to feel very welcome, we had a lovely night's stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful and greeted us warmly. The food was exceptional, we had an evening meal and breakfast with timely service and attention to detail. We thought the whole experience of our stay was great and nothing was too much trouble. There was a Farmers Market on in the grounds when we were leaving which seemed to be going well and I'd imagine would bring in more...
