"Bed extremely uncomfortable - George V Room - I don't think I had a decent night's sleep during my stay! Room wasn't serviced properly on my penultimate day - the bin in the room (but not the one in the bathroom) was emptied and the tea/milk etc topped up, but the bed wasn't made properly. To be fair, one of the housekeeping staff did knock on the door and asked if I needed the room serviced - I said the bed wasn't made and she offered to make it but I told her not to bother. The breakfast was good and staff lovely but sadly for £240 a night I expected better. I wouldn’t stay again unless the cleanliness was addressed and beds upgraded. Shame as with some basic...

This place has just 3 rooms, ours was immaculate and I'm sure it was a higher standard than your average pub hotel. The decor was really nice, bed was super comfy, tea & coffee making facilities, and the bathroom was very nice and a decent size with a good electric shower. We had a delicious full cooked breakfast made for us the following morning. Free parking nearby (...
