"The room was comfortable but there was clearly someone smoking in a room nearby. The front desk said they checked for me, but could only offer us a bottle of febreeze for the smell. The breakfast was very limited. Hard to walk anywhere without having to cross a highway. I picked it for the outdoor pool. It was raining I couldn't use it (obviously not there fault) but there were significantly cheaper places around that would have been equal in amenities, other than the outdoor pool."

"This is a gorgeous historic property nearly 100 years old. With this in mind, my remarks are personal issues, not necessarily those of all travelers. I am extremely allergic to mold and mildew and just imagine a 100 year old building. While not visible, there is that “ old” smell that never leaves.
