The property is old, need to be refurbished and re-equiped, there's little the staff can do about this, although the staff tried very hard to do their job diligently, but with building situations there's little they can do for their efforts to show. It is a very nice location if all this are addressed.

All was good except the floor in our room was dirty which made my feet all grimy… had to wear my shoes to keep my feet clean.

Hotel is run down and filthy. Starting with the parking lot, garbage everywhere, lobby furniture is dirty and stained, walls are torn up, shower has mold, the list goes on and on. Don’t waste your money there.

The property should not be listed on Expedia. As other reviewers have stated, it should be shut down. How the State of Illinois allows this place to stay open to the public I do not understand.

Let me start off by saying the carpet in the hotel was filthy. My car got broken into the cameras weren’t working properly. The room had roaches I had to keep getting my key card reprogrammed. Staff disappears sometime throughout the course of the night. One of the good things about it was the bed was comfortable Although I didn’t eat nothing but a pre packed muffin and tea/juice The kitchen staff very pleasant. Because if there is roaches in the room they are definitely in the kitchen.

I stayed there for less than 3 hours and asked for a refund. There were bugs in my room everywhere. A dirty and stained sofa with flattened cushions that always as though it was picked up from a dumpster. There was some substance on the wall that I hope was ear wax. I will never stay at a choice hotel again. I thought the last one was bad in a different city, but this one wins for being the worst. The sign stating the room was cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant needs to be taken down. Yuck! They gotta add the option for zero stars.

I like the pool and the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't like the damage that was already in the room and smoke smell when my family and I arrived.

I found old eye lashes on the stand by the bed, the lamp on the table didn’t work, and the shower curtain had someone else hair all over it. My best friend stayed in the same hotel at the same time and they gave her a handicap accessible that she didn’t ask for, the room smelled horrible and her neighbors argued all night stopping her from sleeping(hotel staff didn’t help with the situation). Hotel is close to highway and many stores.
