"This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!"

"The member of staff couldn’t find our booking and made us feel like we hadn’t booked it until I showed them the confirmation, but no apologies and said they were having IT issues, they then said the air conditioning hasn’t been working since May, but nothing mentioned on there web site, so it was a very uncomfortable stay and TBH I wouldn’t have booked that hotel as we are in a middle of a heat wave and staff were not helpful!!!! I have complained but not heard from them yet"

"Great location. Inflexible menu on the day so had to eat elsewhere no accommodation La were made for us. Clean room But many hairs in the bedding inbetween mattress protector or bottom sheet. Attention to detail would be worthwhile and signs on other guests doors to ask them to be mind full not letting doors slam in the morning would be helpful."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay . On arrival found we had everything we needed in our lovely clean room which was being serviced daily as were the restocking of nice biscuits , choice of beverages etc on tea tray. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and very friendly, the breakfasts were always very delicious and felt like a proper feast to start the day . Short walk to beach and high street very good frequent bus services from there to all over the island which meant we hardly used...

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

"Location excellent for attractions. Reception was nice and a bit quirky. Room was a bit bland although recently refurbished. Breakfast was adequate. Air conditioning in the room would have been nice, a fan was provided. If the temperature had been any warmer it could have been a problem. We managed to get free parking at the front of the hotel which was a bonus, spaces were limited."

The room felt very outdated, and the bathroom had noticeable dust and buildup, giving the impression that it had not been cleaned thoroughly. "Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities. We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service. Evening meal and service in bar were also good, even though it was a busy evening. We would definitely return to the...

"This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. And I have stayed in 100s. Staff could went above and beyond, the place is stunning, the rooms are spectacular and the breakfast was excellent. I wish I could stay every weekend."
