"The most amazing views! Early May, so weather was breezy and overall warm but not hot. We loved how easy it was to walk from the property to many restaurants and shops, as well as get take ride share to further away places. Upon arrival we had to have staff re-clean portions of the bathroom because the cleaning crew had not done a satisfactory job; dirt and hair in corners, and hair in the bathtub. "Room was clean and well equipped, however the entire room was vibrating constantly, presumably due to some machinery nearby, possibly the air conditioning. The latch on the door was actually rattling around until I unhooked it. I unplugged the fridge, which was causing some of the problem, but there was still underlying noise and vibration. "No on site parking was available for us. Parked in a lot a couple blocks away."

"Staff was unable to unlock door to our suite upon arrival and we had to wait in the hallway for 30 minutes before maintenance arrived. Then we were locked out again and were moved to another suite where the chain on door was broke. The property is old (chipped paint-worn furniture) and has small windows and dim lighting. It does not have a small boutique charm. Entire staff is foreign."

A breakfast place with amazing coffee and a Peruvian restaurant that was completely enjoyable!. We have added the Godfrey to future visits to Boston."

"They don’t have staff to take luggage upstairs. We were given our own trolley and expected to take the luggage upstairs when asked the front desk said it may take some time. This is severely lacking for a five star property. We found a thank you card left in the room from a previous stay, clearly not meant for us.
