My only complaint is that you have to turn on your lights with a remote control and that was a little tricky at times because we sometimes just wanted the bathroom light on, but it would turn everything else on. "We really enjoyed our stay here! The room, breakfast and amenities were great. We loved the historic structure and perfect location for the MIT reunion. I liked being able to tip with a QR code and a makeup mirror was a helpful bonus in our room."

"I was put in the wrong room initially but the front desk guy corrected it for me. The room was not the most comfortable the bed was kind of hard and the towels were stiff. I am not going to lie no I would not stay here again. Also they charged me $65 for one night of valet parking!"

"The location is great, very close to all the nice shops on Exeter street, just across from the Boston Public Library. The staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. Be aware the hotel is an older property and they have chosen to maintain the same esthetic, so it has that old school hotel vibe. Bed was super comfortable, A/C was very cold, liked the pillow, had bathrobes, ironing board and iron for guest use. Big bathroom with a tub."

"This property is perfect! My only complaint is that when I booked it stated that we would have free breakfast and upon arrival they stated that we did not have breakfast included in our stay. Pretty disappointed but it did not take away from the beauty and cleanliness at this hotel"

"This was an interesting hotel and if you have any experience of the raffles brand elsewhere then I would recommend be prepared. The venue is central but overlooking an 8storey multi story car park and rather cramp rooms was not really value add. The suite on the other hand in higher floors were. A butler system which I must say working off some mediocre phone prompts just doesn’t cut it . "I was in a 2-queen-bed room with a small window facing the atrium with a skylight (nothing special). The beds and beddings were comfortable. The room was surprisingly spacious and with high ceiling. The wall pictures were stunning and because it was an inner bedroom, it was quiet. The only negative I find is about the small window. I was hoping to be able to open it to let some natural light in but because it had blinds (flimsy 1-in slats) behind the light-blocking drapery instead of privacy...
