"The breakfast was good. Plenty of selection but I don't think all of it was cooked fresh. The bacon was very hard and not easy to cut. The toast was not as one would expect toast to be, it seemed as if it was bread that was put in a pan with oil and served. But nothing was too much trouble for the staff."

"We booked a twin room and, on arrival, this consisted of two single mattresses on a double bed frame. This was not mentioned in the room description and has been raised as a concern by previous guests, according to staff. There were areas of peeling plaster and artex on the wall. These areas were brown, as were around plugs for amenities, and also had mould. The mattress and bedding were comfortable. The location was very good."
