"Maybe you get what you pay for? One of the cheaper options and the location is good and it has been modernised but the rooms are very small and there are a few disappointing features - the shower is a “wet room” and because it’s so small EVERYTHING gets wet. The basin has only cold water - the first room I was shown was so small you would only be able sit sideways on the w/c.
The room lacked any clothes storage apart from 4 hooks - no where to put a suitcase etc. The hotel has charm foyer...

"So the location, the room, and staff were all fine. However, this hotel has a very strange check in and check out policy. I originally booked for 2 days and their checkin time was 8 PM (ok, that was late but I figured that I could make it work. I was then told that I would have to leave and recheck in on the subsequent day. I guess they rent their rooms out in 12 hr shifts.
Needless to say, I contacted Expedia and the manager accommodated me like a normal hotel. Now, to be clear, I didn’t mind...
