"Excellent hotel. Reception staff very helpful and good languages. Very good location opposite peoples park and on Nanjing road. The peoples park metro is opposite the hotel so easy transfer from PVG airport (Line 2 or Maglev and Line 2). Taxi's also easy from / to hotel. The hotel has a large indoor pool and and an outside decking area for Europeans wishing to sunbath. Mornings are best. Hotel rooms very good in terms of size, furniture etc. Maid service also very good. The hotel has a roof top bar, which is good for views etc. Its a very nice hotel and fully justifies the rating particularly with the excellent staff. Travelled as a leisure couple from London. "

"Lovely hotel. Nice touches in the rooms with free coke and sprite and water in fridge every day. Slippers and soft dressing gowns. Lovely body wash ( different ones for morning and evening) and shampoo. Shower power was perfect. Comfy bed Breakfast was good lots of choice and styles of food. The outdoor area was gorgeous with superb views of the bund The area was fantastic. 10 minutes walk to Yuyan gardens and the historical area. 5 minutes from the metro. 15 minutes walk to the bund one way or peoples park the other way. Best location to stay in my opinion. Lovely friendly bar next door called chalet plus one side and a handy supermarket other side. "Very nice hotel but rooms are a little outdated compared to other grand hyatts. We were expecting more modern and luxurious. Staff wasnt friendly NEVER. Reception or buffet staff not friendly at all. "
