"Sadly this is one accomodation that we will not recommend. 2pm check in and the reception was home having lunch. The apartment was run down. Cupboards falling apart in bathroom. The electric blanket only worked on half the bed…it was freezing. Unable to tap and pay when Receptionist finally arrived and the fee was more than what we saw on Wotif. No beach view. The accomodation was down a long driveway. "

"The hotel location is fine, but anywhere in Christchurch city will be close to everything there. I stayed in a 'club room' which was very ordinary and in need of some improvement. Worst of all was the club lounge - terrible location and atmosphere, and a complete waste of money unless you're there only for the free evening drinks.
