I have stayed at a number of historic properties before and this one is maintained to what I would say is a minimum level (peeling paint and wallpaper, beat up furniture), which is not to say that it is not clean. "The place was clean but we had issues with the TV so they moved us to a different room where again the TV came on but couldn't change channels and the internet was not working 95% of the time it was under renovations so we got a bag with apple muffin and snack bar and apple juice in place of a hot breakfast"

"The place was easy to find, and conveniently located, was expecting to pay for parking only to find out that since it was the weekend it was free, we stayed for two nights while we explored thousand islands. Would book again. Only observation the was no A/C as far I know so it was a little warm, but I never asked.
