However, the decor and soft furnishings are all a little tired and dated in the common areas and overdue for an upgrade. We stayed in the Deluxe Double room with ocean view courtesy of the oriel window. Bed was comfortable, usual tea/coffee tray provided. "Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that."
