"Perfect place to stay if you’re in the area. We had a twin room, which was a good size and had a full bath tub with soaps, shower gels and shampoo. Tea/coffee making facilities and free bottled water. The rooms are attached to wonderful pub, the staff are super friendly and the food served there is excellent. Definitely make a bee line for the roast lamb if you’re there on a Sunday. Plenty of choice for breakfast. My only wish would be the option to have a hot breakfast, but for the price of the...

"It's a beautiful old house and nicely located within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking in the back. The staff are great - friendly and helpful. My only complaint was with the shower controls! After fiddling with them for quite some time, I finally managed to get water at a reasonable temperature to flow from the shower head rather than in the tub, but even now I don't think I could repeat the process."

"My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to.
