"This was my first stay at this hotel in Cernobbio and my favourite Hotel is now converted into luxury apartments, so I needed a new Hotel in Cernobbio. This hotel is brilliant and I will stay again. Its in a great position and the downstairs has to be seen to be believed and luckily the room had a balcony with great views. "Palazzo di Vice Re was one of the only options available to us on the days we needed so we gave it a chance and it was the best decision for our vacation. Once we arrived we were kindly greeted by the lovely concierge Arianna, and the very passionate owner / architect Cristiano who brought our bags to our room. We explained our air Bnb situation and were greeted with exceptional hospitality and warmth. On his own time Cristiano gave us a private tour of his palazzo, as well as the history behind each and every room of the villa that has been in his family for 4 generations including restorations and improvements he’s completed himself. He even took us down to his wine cellar and explained where / why he chose to outsource wine from smaller family and women owned vineyards which we greatly appreciated. They provided a private beach area with a jacuzzi that had an amazing view and comfortable chairs. They recommended the best wine we have ever had. Arianna was nothing less than amazing, every morning she took our breakfast order and personalized it to whatever we wanted. They both took time to talk to use about our upcoming adventures and gave their recommendations for anything we needed. We wish we could give this place 10 stars, from the ambiance to the hospitality everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we got there up until the moment we left. Our only regret was not staying there longer! Special thank you to Arianna and Cristiano for everything, we will be back."

"Perfect. The hotel is tucked away in Lezzeno while still being less than 5 minute walk from the ferry. Lovely peaceful place, the room (we had one with separate seating area to spread out) was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Our host Silvia was so very helpful, and runs a beautiful hotel. Breakfast was delicious too"

"PIECE OF HEAVEN!! My partner and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at this beautiful villa! The host was so kind and welcoming, and also speaks English in case visitors do not speak Italian. The villa itself was built decades ago, so you get the beautiful historic feeling of the villa. But the bathrooms and shower are all updated and modernized. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! The villa is situated right in front of Lake Como, so you get the best view of the lake! Our room came with a balcony where we sat and enjoyed the lake view. The property was so well kept and organized! We did have to share a shower with another guest, but honestly it was not inconvenient at all as we barely saw the other guest. The area itself is quiet and family friendly. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!"
