"Fantastic stay at the Lansdowne. We were here on a girls trip and the Oakey cottage was a perfect home base! Easy parking right in front, 5 minute leisurely walk from shops and restaurants was amazing. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and the manager was always there kind and cheery greeting us in the morning which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return in the future! "

"Quaint old stone cottage style building with lots of history, beautifully preserved and decorated. Very comfortable bedding, modern shower with push button control. Conveniently located to town center, shopping, and bus stop. Restaurant on site was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. "

"Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street "

"Church view was a perfect location. It was an easy walk on the footpath to the town. The cottage was huge & done with impeccable taste. We had a bit of difficulty finding the cottage, as it was nighttime & raining when we arrived, but were pleasantly surprised at the loveliness once we entered."

"The hotel was very good, staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good in both days. Our evening meal on Saturday evening was excellent. On the Sunday morning, we had drinks in the hotel garden which were brought to us by bar staff. The only negative thing was that I had booked a small double room and small it was. So really that was an error on my part so I would definitely book this hotel again, but booking a larger room with a larger double bed. All in all a great place to...

"First room over looked aircon units and smelt damp so changed rooms. Asked for firmer pillows and was offered bath towels instead. Finally got it right. Breakfast was great. Good choice and hot. Toaster as always one side brown the other near burnt. Bar staff excellent, fast service and friendly. The main dining room is another story. Asked if they had a table as we hadn't booked and was left waiting for 10 minutes. Left with no response so pretty poor. Ordered room service but so far down the...
