"This is a great choice in Montreal. Located in a funky area with lots of good dining and shops, the suite I had was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Two minor points were the excessive number of messages from the host, each of which required going to a website rather than just receiving the message, and not having hot water in the shower in the morning."

"The staff was very nice. The hotel is in a central location not too far from public transportation. However my bed had all types of stains on the covers and sheets. Hotel staff was able to move me to another room but it was a downgrade from what I originally paid for. In addition to be doing graded they never issued me a refund for a fair difference in the rooms. I paid for 1 bedroom and ended up in a studio because of random stains on the covers that they couldn’t explain."

"We stayed here last year and noticed the difference between the two. Our room had no air conditioning as it's controlled by the front desk and when we asked for it to be turned on they told us they would but never did and recommended we open a window. This was not the case last year. We had two rooms and both sinks were clogged. Parking is difficult at times. Positives - our room was clean and the location is fantastic!"

"Great location. Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Safe neighborhood. Missing some basics like non stick pans, only one towel per person, limited paper towels, limited coffee pods, no dish towel in the kitchen. Room upstairs in the back was hot and ac wasn’t helping. Good stuff - clean, hot tub was nice, beautiful balcony. Street Parking was confusing so went to private lot instead. Overall, pretty good but some small areas for improvement."

"Nicely decorated, clean one bedroom unit in the trendy Mile End neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen, cable TV. Lots of shopping nearby and a short 15 min walk to the subway. Gaspe Parking garage is nearby with cheap weekend rates."

"Price was reasonable, room was clean and staff was easy to communicate with. The location was also very accessible since it was on the main road of St Denis. Will book again in the future!"

"Se comparte baño, no hay cuartos con baño propio y el baño estaba PESIMO, tenia mugre pegada en la tina, no especifica que el desayuno es te entregan los ingredientes y tu preparas, la habitacion no tiene ni una silla donde sentarse y no se veia muy limpio que digamos. Horrible"

"Had a wonderful stay at Kutuma. Very small hotel, only 8 rooms. But they are beautiful. So amazingly well appointed. Large, functional kitchen, great bathroom including jacuzzi, lots of little touches. Also love the fact that they have individual shampoo and bath gel bottles rather than the gross yuck stuff. Service is great , we were even offered tea and coffee at check in. Location is excellent, next to the subway and Latin quarter. This is a great little gem. Will definitely return"

"The room was rather small with no comfortable chairs to sit in. The hotel was clean and modern. Checkin was quick. Parking was extra. The restaurant breakfast was quite nice, enjoyed it. However, no cream for the coffee, only milk...a faux pas in our books! Great location, close to Old Montreal. Overall we did enjoy our stay, it just wasn't a $350 night kinda room, was expecting more. "

"Our reservation was canceled without any notification, so we had to find another hotel upon arrival, which took us another 4 to 5 hour, front desc was helpful, however all situation was obsoletely unacceptable!! Big time Expedia and hotel communication failure."

"This was a good spot for walking and enjoying the residential neighbourhoods of Montreal. Despite being on a street that is busy during the day, it was totally quiet at night. We both got a good night's sleep. The room was clean and met our basic needs without breaking the bank"
